Born and raised in the northeast, I enjoyed skiing and played competitive tennis for years. After practicing various forms of yoga during the better part of 25 years, I arrived in Seattle and began a dedicated study of the Vinyasa flow style with Dora Gyarmati at Spira Power Yoga in 2011.
Breath, mindfulness, laughter and light are the cornerstones of my practice and I enjoy guiding my students through classes incorporating all of these things. Patience in all movement allows us to build strength...in mind and body.
I have worked within the corporate world for more than 30 years and have a special understanding of the physical challenges that come with this potentially sedentary lifestyle. I designed an office yoga program and lead practice
at different locations throughout the downtown Seattle core. I have completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training, enjoy participating in retreats and workshops and am continuing my yoga journey as an eternal student and grateful teacher.
